Open the screen Scanner Settings. We have 3 types of scanners: Vial, Serial Port Scanner and the Network Scanner.
 Insert new to add a new scanner. The name of the scanner will be "My scanner" and it is a Serial Port Scanner. It is possible to create several "Serial Port Scanners", with different COM ports.

We can set settings to:
Serial Port Scanner (Com port)

Net work Scanner (Ip Address)

In some cases it's not necessary to specify scanner settings, because some types of the scanners work without any port setting and programs. This happens automatically by plugging in an USB scanner.
